The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the Intermediate or Class 12th arts, science, commerce and vocational compartmental examination results 2017 at the result portal i.e biharboard.ac.in.
The results were announced at 11 am on the result portal of the Board. Students who applied for the Compartmental exams can now check the results by visiting the result portal as unlike other state boards.
Students who were not able to qualify the 12th class or Intermediate exams gave the Compartmental exams, for which the board has now declared the results.
Steps to check the BSEB Intermediate compartmental examination results:
1)Visit the official website of Bihar board
2)Click on the link for ‘Results’ at the bottom of the page
3)Click on the link for arts/science/commerce or vocational compartmental result as desired
4) Enter roll code and roll number or name
5) Click on find result
6) Result will be displayed on the screen
This year, Bihar Board has announced Intermediate result 2017 on May 30 which is really shocking. We can say that this years pass percentage shows the impact of the infamous topper scam which was exposed last year. This year 64 per cent of the Class 12 students of the Bihar Board have failed in this year's examinations.This year only 35% student has successfully cleared bihar intermediate result.
According to the reports, Of the total 1240168 students who appeared in the Class 12 examination Science, Commerce and Arts stream, 794622 students failed to clear the examination which means 64.07 per cent students failed in the exams.
In the Science stream, 646231 students sat for the exams and 449280 students failed (69.52 per cent). In the Commerce stream, 60022 students appeared for the exams and 15004 failed (25 per cent). In the Arts stream, 533915 students gave the exams and 330338 failed (61.87 per cent).
Bihar Board results clearly shows how the Bihar School Examination Board has tightened the exam and result level. When compared to past years.
Pass Percentage
-Science Stream Pass percentage: 30.11 %
In the Science stream, the pass percentage was 89.32 per cent in 2015 and 67.06 per cent in 2016 but dropped to 30.11 per cent this year.
-Commerce Stream Pass Percentage: 73.76 %
In the Commerce stream, the pass percentage was 90.55 per cent in 2015 and 80.87 per cent in 2016 but dropped to 73.76 per cent this year.
-Arst Stream Pass Percentage: 37.13 %
In the Arts stream, the pass percentage was 56 per cent but dropped to 37.13 per cent this year.

-Science topper: Khushbu kumari - Simultula, jamui-431 out of 500, 86.2%
-Commerce topper :Priyanshu jaiswal,college of commerce, patna- 408 out of 500, 81.6%
-Arts topper:Ramesh kumar, Samastipur- 413 out of 500, 82.6%
