The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) which also conducts UGC NET examination is likely to declare the result for National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) on Monday. The UGC NET results will be declared on the official website cbsenet.nic.in.  Recently, CBSE has released the answer keys for UGC NET 2017 on its official website cbsenet.nic.in.

CBSE UGC NET examination was conducted on January 22, 2017. The answer key of UGC NET examination was released on cbsenet.nic.in.

Two times in a year, CBSE conducts UGC NET exams for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for universities and colleges across India.

This year, the results have been delayed by around three months. The exam was conducted on January 22 in 84 subjects at 90 selected NET examination cities spread across the country.

How to check CBSE UGC NET results 2017:

# In order to check the results, the candidates will have to go on the official website- cbsenet.nic.in.

# Click on the link 'Check CBSE UGC NET Jan Results 2017

# You have to enter the details in it and submit the same.

# And then the results will be displayed on the screen.

# Printout of the results can be taken for future use.

About CBSE UGC NET:

UGC (University Grants Commission) is a statutory organisation established by the union government in 1956. Its main objective is to provide recognition to the Indian universities and provide funds to such recognised universities and colleges.

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) now conducts this exam on behalf of UGC for the post of Lecturer and for providing the JRF for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and in research. The exam is conducted in streams such as Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce. For more details, the candidates can visit the official website.
