CBSE UGC NET Exam Results 2017 expected likely by May 10

The results of UGC conducted  National Eligibilty Test is expected to be declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on its official website, cbse.nic.in. As per the reports Central Board of Secondary Education has delayed the result is due to the various competitive exam in the pipeline and CBSE is declaring the result one by one. A lot of rumours are reported regarding the suspension of UGC NET in last few days. But, the conclusion has come and CBSE will hold UGC NET Exam once in a year.

CBSE UGC NET Result 2017 has already been delayed for four months. According to the reports it is also said thatCBSE UGC NET exam results 2017 can be expect before May 10. But some sources revealed that possible reasons for CBSE UGC NET delay are the backlog of the exam
However CBSE UGC NET Answer keys and OMR sheets have been released online for the CBSE UGC NET exam 2017.

Candidates who have appeared for the examination on 22 January 2017 can now check the answer key and download the same online. The Board has released the OMR sheets in scanned copies. Candidates can download these from the official website of CBSE NET at cbsenet.nic.in on or before 8 May 2017.

“Candidates are allowed to challenge the recorded responses if these differ from the ones they had marked on the OMR sheet. The challenge if any of scanned images of OMR answer sheets & answer key will be accepted online only”, says the Board.

How to check CBSE UGC NET results 2017:

In order to check the results, the candidates will have to go on the official website and click on the link 'Check CBSE UGC NET Jan Results 2017. You have to enter the details in it and submit the same. And then the results will be displayed on the screen. Printout of the results can be taken for future use.

What role does CBSE hold:

CBSE plays the role of only conducting the UGC NET examination and declaration of results.

E-certificates:

The UGC-NET Bureau issues e-certificates to the qualified candidates. So for the e-certificates, the candidates can refer to Head, UGC NET Bureau, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Marg, New Delhi.

The UGC Net exam was conducted on January 22. It consisted of three rounds of papers with objective type questions. The difficulty level of the paper increased from the first level to the last round.

About CBSE UGC NET:

UGC (University Grants Commission) is a statutory organisation established by the union government in 1956. The main objective of the organization is to provide recognition to the Indian universities and provide funds for the universities that are recognized and colleges.

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) now conducts this exam on behalf of UGC. The exam is conducted for the post of lecturer and for providing JRF to the Indian nationals for ensuring minimum standards for the entrants in teaching profession and in research.
The exam is conducted in streams such as Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, etc.
