The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has announced the Class 12 results today on the official website of the board. The candidates who have appeared for the examination can check their scores at resultsassam.nic.in and ahsec.nic.in. The Assam HS Result 2019 has been declared for over 2.40 lakh students. As per early reports, 1,86,279 students appeared for the Arts stream exams, 18,297 students from Commerce and 37,468 in case of Science. As per the Assam HS Result 2019, Khushboo Firdous topped Arts stream with 95.60%, Bitupan Arandhara topped Science with 95.60% and Ashim Sarkar topped Commerce stream with 94.80%.
For the convenience of the students, we have mentioned the steps through which the candidates can check their results:
Step 1: Visit newsnation.in/board-results and click on the direct link
Step 2: On the homepage, they need to click on the link of the Assam 12th results.
Step 3: The students have to enter their credentials then and need to submit them.
Step 4: On submission of the details, the students will get to see their results on the screen.
Step 5: The students should take a print out of the result that is displayed on the screen.
This year, Assam Board Class 12 exams were held from 12th February to 14th March. More than 2 lakh candidates appeared for the AHSEC examinations in the month of March. Assam Board has already released the results for SEBA Assam HSLC Class 10 examination.

The matters of Higher Secondary Education are looked after by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). Established on 1st of June, 1984, AHSEC regulates, supervises and develops the system of Higher Secondary Education. The AHSEC Board also conducts the annual Higher Secondary Examination for all the three streams i.e. Arts, Commerce and Science.
