New Delhi:
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will be releasing the results of Common Proficiency Test (CPT) examination along with the CA Final (old course and new course) and foundation examination today at around 6 pm. However, few sources are suggesting that the CA Final Result 2018 may release by 3 pm and the CA Foundation Result 2018 may be declared by 4 pm.
The exam for CA Final was held on November 1, 3, 5, 9, 11, 13, 15 & 17, 2018, the exam for CA Foundation was conducted on November 11, 13, 15 & 17, 2018 and that for CPT was held on December 16, 2018.
Soon after the official announcement, candidates can visit the official websites icaiexam.icai.org, caresults.icai.org and icai.nic.in to check and download the results.
Alternatively, students can also check the ICAI Results through SMS service provided by the institute. For the convenience of the students, we have elaborated the process through which the candidates can get their results:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the institute - icaiexam.icai.org, caresults.icai.org and icai.nic.in.
Step 2: Enter your PIN number or registration number along with your roll number.
Step 3: Click on the submit button.
Step 4: Check CA Final Result / CPT Results online.
Step 5: Download the result and take a printout for future reference.
To get the CA Result 2018 by SMS:
CA Final Result 2018 through SMS (New Course): CAFNLNEW (space)XXXXXX (Where XXXXXX is the six digit Final examination roll number of the candidate) , e.g. CAFNLNEW 000128. Sent the message to 58888.
CA Final Result 2018 through SMS (Old Course): CAFNLOLD (space) XXXXXX (Where XXXXXX is the six digit Final examination roll number of the candidate), e.g. CAFNLOLD 000128. Sent the message to 58888.
CA Foundation Result 2018 through SMS: CAFND (Space)XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is the six digit Foundation Examination roll number of the candidate), e.g. CAFND 000171. Sent the message to 58888.
CPT Foundation Result 2018 through SMS: CACPT(Space)XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is the six digit Common Proficiency Test roll number of the candidate) , e.g. CACPT 000171. Sent the message to 5888.
If the candidates are not satisfied by the result, or the result outcome is not as per the expectation, the candidates can apply for marks verification. A candidate can apply for verification, within a month from the date of declaration of results, giving specific details of the following and pay the applicable fees.
