UP Board Result 2019: The Uttar Pradesh board has announced the Class 10 and class 12 results today on the official website of the board. Today, the declaration of UP Board class 10 and Class 12 results have sealed the fate of 58 lakh students who had appeared for the examination.
The UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad is responsible to conduct Class 10, 12 Board Examinations across Uttar Pradesh. The UPMSP successfully accomplished its job conducting both the Class 10, 12 Board Exams as per the decided schedule of the UP Board Exam.

12.32 pm: Of the total number of students, nearly 6 lakh students had skipped the exam because of the strict security measures put in place by the UP Board.
12.27 pm: According to the information provided by the UPMSP, the Board will hold a press meet prior to the declaration of the UP Board Result 2019 at 12:30 PM. In the press meet, UP Board director, Vinay Kumar Pandey and UPMSP secretary Neena Srivastava will formally declare the result and also announce the key highlights along with the list of toppers. After the formal declaration, the result will be made available online on the official website at 1 PM.

12.02 pm: As many as 58.6 lakh students registered for the Uttar Pradesh (UPMSP) board exams, but around 6.52 lakh students failed to appear for the examinations. As many as 403 students were caught cheating, according to the media reports.
11.58 am: The Uttar Pradesh board has announced that the results have been delayed by an hour. UPMSP has confirmed that the Class 12 result will be announced at 1 pm and Class 10 result at 1:30 pm.
11.53 am: UP Board also follows a unique passing scheme, which is likely to help in boosting the overall pass percentage.
11.42 am: As per the official update, the result will be announced in a press meet at the Prayagraj office of the Board by UP Board Director Vinay Kumar Pandey and UPMSP Secretary Neena Srivastava.
11.38 am: UP Board Result 2019 will see the pass percentages grow higher as compared to the ones that have been registered in the last few years. Last year, the overall pass percentage for UP Board 10th Result was 75.165 while the same for UP Board 12th Result was 72.43%. As per academic experts, the pass percentages in UP Board Result 2019 will be higher this year.
11.34 am: According to reports, the UPMSP had employed 79064 teachers for the evaluation of answer sheets of High School studdents. Similarly, a total of 45732 teachers were involved in the evaluation of answer sheets for intermediate students.
11.25 am: After the declaration of UP Board Result 2019, students will have the option to opt for re-totaling or rechecking of their answer sheets, if they feel that their answers have not been evaluated fairly. This year, the UP Board has hiked the fee for re-evaluation of answer sheets by five folds. Now, students will have to pay Rs 500/- for re-evaluation of answer sheets for each subjects. Earlier, the re-evaluation fee was Rs 100.
11.18 am: UP Board Exam 2019 was held for nearly 52 lakh students this year. This means that a total of 3.2 crore answer sheets had to be evaluated in order to publish the UP Board 10th and 12th Result 2019. Of the total number of answer sheets, 1.9 crore answer sheets are for High School Students while the rest i.e. 1.2 crore answer sheets are of Class 12 students.

This year, around 36 lakh students appeared for the UP Board class 10 examination, while around 30 lakh examinees sat for the UP Board class 12 examinations. Last year, 26.54 lakh students, including 1.79 lakh private examinees registered for the Inter exams out of which 11 lakh were absent in exams.
