NEET 2019 Result ANNOUNCED at ntaneet.nic.in, Nalin Khandelwal tops exam with 701 marks

NEET 2019 Result ANNOUNCED.

New Delhi:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET Result 2019 today i.e. 5 June, 2019. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download their scores from the official website of the agency i.e. ntaneet.nic.in. As per latest reports, Rajasthan boy Nalin Khandelwal has topped the exam. He has scored 701 marks out of the total 720 marks. Among females, Madhuri Reddy from Telangana has topped exam with 695 marks and secured all India Rank 7.

A total of 15,19,375 candidates registered for the exam of which 14,10,755 students appeared in the exam. Of the 14.10 lakh candidates, 7.97 lakh could clear the medical-dental entrance exam.

The NEET 2019 was conducted on May 5 and May 20, 2019. On May 20, the NEET 2019 examination was conducted for Fani-affected Odisha candidates and Karnataka exam takers whose train got delayed. The NTA has also released the NEET Answer Key and accepted the objections against the same till May 31.

NEET NTA 2019 – Steps to check

For the convenience of the students, we have mentioned the steps through which the candidates can check the results: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET, ntaneet.nic.in or mcc.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link “NEET Result 2019” available on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your NEET Registration Id and Password in the space provided.

Step 4: The NEET Result 2019 will be displayed on the next age.

Step 5: Check your result and download the same for future reference.

According to the official NEET notification, "In order to be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses for a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of marks at 50th percentile in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test to MBBS/BDS Courses held for the said academic year."

NEET UG is conducted for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in India in medical/dental colleges run with the approval of the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India
