Bihar Board declared the results of its Intermediate or Class 12 Board exams today on March 30 at 3.15pm. The results were declared in a record time of 26 days and have unexpectedly seen a jump in its pass percentage this year. Around 556072 students appeared for the Bihar board Class 12 Exams 2019 in Arts Stream alone and Rohini Kri and Manish Kumar emerged as the joint toppers securing 92.6 per cent marks.
The Bihar Board class 12th examination for Arts was conducted from February 6 to 16, 2019.
The State education department additional chief secretary RK Mahajan said, "Due to change in the question pattern by the Bihar board significant improvement in results was seen this year, Special training for evaluators were held in the state to increase the pass percentage of toppers".

Furthermore, the Bihar board result will contain the following details on it: Board’s Details, School Name, Student’s Name, Student’s Roll Number, His/ Her Roll Code, Candidate’s Date of Birth, Subject Name, Subject Code, Marks in the Subjects.
The overall pass percentage of BSEB 12th this year is 79.76% and that of only Arts stream is 76.5%. The top five rank holders of each stream would get a scholarship, a cash prize and other incentives by the board.
The board, however, has withheld the results of 174 students for various reasons.
As per the reports around 13, 15,382 students this year took the Bihar board class 12th examination for all the three streams. The examination was held at a total of 1339 centres across the state of Bihar in two shifts. 523 exam centres were allotted for female candidates only.
