ISC Class 12 Result 2019: Kolkata's Dewang Kumar Agarwal, Bengaluru's Vibha Swaminathan top exam with 100%

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the ICSE Class 10th and ISC Class 12th Result today on its official website. Two students have topped the exam this year. Dewang Kumar Agarwal of La Martiniere Boys Kolkata and Vibha Swaminathan of Mallya Aditi International School Bengaluru topped the ISC Class 12 exam with 100 percent.

While Devang is a Science student, Vibha is a Humanities student. Today, the declaration of the ISC Results 2019 have sealed the fate of lakhs of students who have appeared for the examination. This year, the pass percentage touched 96.52 per cent, a minimal increase of 0.31 per cent from last year. The students who appeared for ISC Class 12 exam can check and download their results from the official website i.e. cisce.org.

Southern region: 98.91%

Western region: 98.13%

Eastern region: 96.66%

Northern: 95.76%

Abroad: 99.69%

About the council

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) was established to replace the Cambridge School Education Certificate and it took over three decades to reach its current form. The first ICSE (Class 10th) and ISC (Class 12th) examinations were conducted in the year 1986, in accordance with the New Education Policy 1986.The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) also conducts Certificate of Vocational Education Examination at the higher secondary level. The Joint Council of Higher Education under the aegis of the CISCE was established complying with the National Policy of Education 1986 on the recommendation of the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
