Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2019: The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) has announced the result for the Secondary School leaving certificate examination (SSLC) or class 10th examination today. The candidates can now check their scorecards on the official website of the board i.e. www.dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. The exams were conducted from March 14 to March 24, 2019. The Tamil Nadu Board class 12 or HSE result 2019 have been declared on April 19, 2019. Overall, 91.3 per cent students passed class 12 exams and around 8.7 per cent candidates flunked the class 12 exam this year.

10.06 am: TN 10th or SSLC Result 2019 was released on the official website tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in today, April 29, 2019. The results were released at 9:30 am.
10.00 am: A total of 9.76 lakh students had appeared for the 10th public examinations.
9.54 am: Girls have performed better than the boys with the pass percentage of 97% as against that of boys at 93.3%. A total of 9.76 lakh students had appeared for the 10th public examinations.
9.51 am: Among the top performances are Tirupur district with 98.53% pass percentage. Ramnathapuram is second with 98.48% and Namakal third with. 98.45% pass percentage. Results are now available.

9.12 am: : TN 10th Result was declared on May 23. This year the SSLC Results are releasing sooner than usual. Tamil Nadu Board has already released Class 12th results. TN plus one results would release on May 8.
9.00 am: TN SSLC Results 2019 to be announced in next 30 minutes.
8.50 am: Around 10 lakh candidates have appeared for the exam this year. The examination was conducted in March 2019 and the candidates can download the official marksheet from May 6, 2019 onwards.

8.27 am: In 2018, overall pass percentage is 91.1 per cent. The girls outperformed boys by registering 94.1 per cent while boys have scored 87.7 per cent. In 2017, 94.4 per cent students passed the exam and girls with a pass percentage of 94.5 per cent outshone boys who had a pass percentage of 89.3 per cent. A total of 5059 schools had scored 100 per cent.

Step 4: Your Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2019 will be displayed on the computer screen.
Step 5: Check your TN SSC Result 2019 carefully.
Step 6: Download the result or take a printout for a future reference.
Last year a total of 10, 01,140 students had appeared for the SSLC Class 10 exam, out of which 4, 74,340 were males and 4, 76,340 females. The overall pass percentage was 94.50 percent, which is expected to increase this year.

Established during the British era in 1910, the Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) is the highest authority in the state that looks after the propagation, development and maintenance of school level education in Tamil Nadu. Later on, the Directorate of Government Examinations was also formed under the aegis of Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu to conduct the SSLC level Board Exams for Class 10 students and HSC Exam for Class 12 students.
