The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu is all set to declare the Tamil Nadu SSLC Result on April 29, Monday. Soon after the formal declaration of the results, students can visit the official websites tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in to check and download their TN SSLC Result 2019. This year, the TN SSC Examinations were held from 14th March to 29th March. The students who have appeared for the examinations can visit this page to get all the latest updates. In this article, we have provided all the information related to the Tamil Nadu Board Class 10 examination.

How to Check Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2019?

For the convenience of the students, we have mentioned the steps through which they can check their SSLC Result 2019:

Step 1: Visit the official website of TN Board i.e. tnresults.nic.in.

Step 2: Enter your admit card number and other important information.

Step 3: Click on the submit button.

Step 4: Your Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2019 will be displayed on the computer screen.

Step 5: Check your TN SSC Result 2019 carefully.

Step 6: Download the result or take a printout for future reference.

What is the pass percentage?

In order to clear the exams, students need to score a minimum of 30 marks out of 150 in theory examination and 40 marks out of 50 in practical exams, as per the rules.

Last year, a total of 9,82,097 students had appeared for the exams in Tamil Nadu, the results of which were released on May 19. Among them, 94.4 per cent students passed the exam and girls with a pass percentage of 94.5 per cent outshone boys who had a pass percentage of 89.3 per cent. A total of 5059 schools had scored 100 per cent.

About the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu

Established during the British era in 1910, the Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) is the highest authority in the state that looks after the propagation, development and maintenance of school level education in Tamil Nadu. Later on, the Directorate of Government Examinations was also formed under the aegis of Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu to conduct the SSLC level Board Exams for Class 10 students and HSC Exam for Class 12 students. Currently, the TN Board has around 30,000+ affiliated schools which operate under its guidance. Every year, the Tamil Nadu Board organises SSLC/Senior Secondary Leaving Certificate Examination for over 9.5 lakh students in the month of March and declares the TN SSLC Result in the month of May.
