UPPSC PCS Mains 2017 Result: Days long wait has finally come to an end as the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the results for the combined staff/ upper subordinate mains examination 2017 on Saturday. The commission has made the results available at the official website of the examination that is uppsc.up.nic.in. As many as 2,029 candidates have been shortlisted for the next round of interview in order to fill 676 vacant Deputy Collectors' post. The interview process is scheduled to start from September 16, 2019.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the 'Result Link'
Step 3: Fill in the blanks with important details
Step 4: Click on Submit
Step 5: Download your UPPSC PCS Mains 2017 Results
Step 6: Take a print out of the same for future convenience.
The UPPSC had conducted the PCS Mains 2017 examination between June 18 and July 6, 2018. Therefore, the results got delayed by over a year for unknown reasons. However, the commission has been hurrying up to declare the 2017 results prior to the UPPSC PCS Main 2018 examination, scheduled to be held in October this year. The UPPSC wanted not to disturb the order of the examination and keep the upcoming sessions regularised.
Around 14,032 candidates had appeared for the Uttar Pradesh PCS Mains examinations held last year. Earlier, 4,55,297 applications were received for the recruitment drive while 2,46,654 candidates appeared for the preliminary examination.
The candidates who will be selected in the final interview will be in the pay scale of Rs 9,300- 34,800 with Grade Pay (GP) of Rs 4,200 to Rs 15,600- 39100 with GP of Rs 5,400.
