The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to release the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2018 Admit Cards this week.

According to reports, the board will make the Admit Cards available on its official website (cbseneet.nic.in) on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.

"We will complete the testing and other formalities and the admit card will be out on Tuesday or day after (Wednesday)," Times of India quoted an officer, who is looking after the matter.

The testing of the Admit Card release website could not be completed because of the Gazetted Holiday on Saturday on the occasion of Dalit icon BR Ambedkar's 127th birth anniversary, according to the official.

Earlier, speculations had been rife that the CBSE NEET Admit Cards 2018 would be released by Sunday, April 15. However, the board is yet to release the Admit Cards for NEET 2018 and has not made any official announcement regarding the same.

The NEET UG 2018 is scheduled to take place on May 6. Every year the examination is being held for admission to various undergraduate medical and dental courses across the country.
