New Delhi:

Delhi University’s first cut-off list 2017 was released on Friday. Students can check the list at DU’s official website https://www.du.ac.in/. After logging on to the website, the students will get two options - ‘UG Admissions 2017- (Entrance Based)’ and ‘UG Admissions 2017-(Merit Based)’, from where they can check the cut-off for admissions.

The admission process shall begin from June 24, the DU registrar said in a release. The first list was supposed to be announced on June 20 but it was deferred for three days.

The second, third, fourth and fifth cut-offs will be announced on July 1, 7, 13 and 18 respectively. According to reports, the varsity has received nearly 2.2 lakh applicants to fill in 56,000 seats in its 63 colleges.

Important Dates to remember:

-Notification of First Cut-off Marks List by the Colleges: June 24 

-Document verification and approval of admission: June 24 to June 28

-Notification of Second Cut-off Marks List by the Colleges: July 1

-Document verification and approval of admission: July 1 to July 4

-Notification of Third Cut-off Marks List by the Colleges: July 7

-Document verification and approval of admission: July 7 to July 10

-Notification of Fourth Cut-off Marks List by the Colleges (if any): July 13

-Document verification and approval of admission: July 13 to July 15

-Notification of Fifth Cut-off Marks List by the Colleges (if any): July 18

-Document verification and approval of admission: July 18 to July 19

Document verification:

Verification of documents and approval for admissions will be done between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm for morning colleges and 4 pm to 7 pm for evening colleges. "After approval of admission, the applicant has to log on to undergraduate admission portal for online payment of admission fee," the release said.

Last year's Delhi University cut-off data:

-In 2016: Ramjas College- 99.25 per cent for BCom (Hons).

-In 2016: Ramjas College- 98.75 per cent for BCom and 98.5 per cent for Economics (Honours).

Further, the second cut-off will be released on July 1, and the third cut-off will be released on July 7.
