New Delhi:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday released the JEE Main admit card at its official website which is jeemain.nic.in. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), the national level online competitive test, which is scheduled to be held between January 6 to 20 is a gateway to various undergraduate engineering and architecture institutions which accept the AIEEE score. In a related note, no candidate will receive the admit card offline. The admit cards have been issued provisionally online to the candidates subject to the validity of their JEE Main registration.

Step 1- Visit the official website - jeemain.nic.in.

Step 2- Click on the 'download admit card' link.

Step 3- Enter the application number, password and security pin.

Step 4 - Click on Submit.

Step 4- The admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 5- Download and take a printout for future convenience.

Candidates, who are unable to download admit cards from the official website of JEE should approach the NTA help desk between 10 am to 5 pm from December 17, 2018, to December 23, 2018, according to a notification released by the NTA. The helpline numbers are available at the website of JEE.

Important Details:

The JEE Main 2019 admit card will carry all the important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, parents’ details, photograph, exam date and time, the address of the exam centre, signature and etc. Apart from the admit card, candidates appearing for the national level entrance examination should carry a passport size photograph, a copy of the PwD certificate in the prescribed format (if applicable) and a valid ID proof - PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card. The passport size photograph should be identical to one which is uploaded while filling up the JEE Main 2019 application form.

Cellular phone, Mobile, Pager, Calculator, Log Tables, copying materials, books, notebooks, bits of paper, watch are strictly prohibited inside the examination centre.

JEE Main 2019 examination carries 360 marks and will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours. The result of JEE Main exam will be released on January 31, 2019. For more details, candidates are advised to visit the official site of JEE Main mentioned above.
