SSC MTS recruitment exam 2017 cancelled, re-examination date to be announced on ssc.nic.in

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has cancelled the Multi Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) recruitment examination 2017,. It has been made clear through an official notice about the cancellation of SSC MTS the Multi Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) recruitment examination 2017.

In a notification issued by the commission on Tuesday said that the MTS (Non-Technical) examination, 2016 in the OMR based mode is being cancelled. Also, the five days that was fixed for conducting the examination: April 30, May 14, May 28, June 4 and June 11, 2017 has been cancelled. 

The commission will now be conducting fresh computer based exam, tentatively during the month of September-October, 2017. The commission will upload the details about the fresh examination in due course.

The step was taken by the SSC keeping in view the reports of an alleged paper leak of the mentioned examination.

A statement was issued by SSC confirming that the MTS Exam paper for the afternoon shift conducted on April 30 was found to be compromised. SSC issued statement commenting that the re-examination for the candidates who appeared in the shift would be duly notified on the official website.

Provisions will also be made by SSC in order to notify the students affected suitably. A spokesperson told that the inconvinience caused by the cancellation of the paper was regretted.

SSC MTS Exam was conducted April 30. The question paper and the answer keys were easily available on social media. All came to light when Neetu Singh, the director of KD campus, uploaded the images of the question paper and took assistance fromn the SSC and PMO.

Students should take notice that the examination that was conducted in the morning shift is valid and would not be re-scheduled. The schedule for re-examination would be available shortly.     

According to reports, more than 6 million candidates have applied for 8,300 Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) posts in the country advertised by the SSC
