New Delhi:

UGC NET 2018 Admit Card has been released on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA), which is ntanet.nic.in. The UGC NET 2018 admit card provides candidates with important details such as the exam centre, date, time and shifts. The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) examination will take place on December 18. The December 2018 edition of the National Eligibility Test (NET) will be held in two shifts - 9.30 am to 1 pm and 2.30 pm to 6 pm. Earlier, UGC NET 2018 Admit Cards were scheduled to be released on November 11. The NTA, however, later postponed it November 19, 2018. This will be the first time that NTA will conduct the UGC NET exam. Prior to this the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the exam. Aspirants need to clear the examination for Assistant Professor post.

Steps to download UGC NET admit card 2018:

Step 1: Log on to the official website, ugcnetonline.in

Step 2: Click on the 'download admit card' link

Step 3: Login with your application number and password

Step 4: Admit card will appear on the screen

Step 5: Download your UGC NET admit card 2018

Step 6: Take a print out for further reference

In case of any mistakes in the particulars of the candidate including photograph and signature in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidates are advised to contact the Help Line between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. between November 19 to November 25.

UGC NET 2018 Exam pattern:

The UGC NET 2018 examination will be held in form of two papers. While Paper 1 will be of 100 marks comprising 50 objective type compulsory questions Paper 2 will be of 100 marks and will consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions. In both the paper, each question will carry 2 marks. The duration of Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be one hour and two hours. respectively.
