CTET 2019 exams to be held on July 7: Download admit card now

New Delhi:

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2019 admit card was released on June 21 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The exams will be conducted for two papers i.e. CTET Paper 1 for primary teachers and CTET paper 2 for Upper Primary teachers on July 7. Both the papers will be of two hours duration. The CTET 2019 July exam will be conducted in 20 different languages across 97 cities of India.

Candidates, who have applied for the exam, should download their CTET admit card and check the information mentioned on their admit card to be correct. However, if any detail on the admit card including particulars of candidate, photograph and signature or any other information, does not match then the candidates should immediately contact CTET Unit for necessary corrections.

It is to be noted that candidates will not be allowed to appear for CTET July 2019 exam without their admit card.

The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidate report at the examination centre after 9:30 AM shall not be allowed to sit in Paper-I and candidate report after 2:00 PM shall not be allowed to sit in Paper-II.

Things to be taken to the CTET Exam Centre:

CTET Admit Card or hall ticket

Two ballpoint pens (blue/black)

Original photo ID proof as well as its copy

Things not to be taken to the CTET Exam Centre:

Candidates should not carry gadgets like mobile phones, earphones, wristwatch, camera, bluetooth, calculator, health band and other items like wallet, goggles, bags, pouch, geometry box, paper, scale, writing pad and eraser to the exam centre.

According to an official statement from the Board, 8,17,892 candidates have registered for appearing in CTET paper 1. 4,27,897 candidates have registered for paper II. 8,38,381 candidates have registered for both the papers. 

The Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national level entrance exam conducted twice every year to appoint skilled teachers for Primary level and Elementary level.
