New Delhi:

Applications for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) under the Haryana Postal Circle has been issued by India Post. Candidates will be able to apply for the position till January 2, 2019 on the official website of India Post, www.indiapost.gov.in. The total number of vacancies available for India Post Recruitment for the posts of GDS is 682. General category candidates between the ages of 18 and 40 can apply for the posts. Relaxation in the upper age limit is five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates; i.e. ST/SC candidates up to 45 years of age and OBC up to 43 years of age can apply. 

The Department of Posts, trading as India Post, is a government-operated postal system in India under the Department of Posts, which is part of the Ministry of Communications. Generally called the post office in India, it is the most widely distributed postal system in the world.
