India Post has extended the registration date for 10, 066 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS). The last date to apply for the post was September 4 which was extended till September 11. Now it has been further extended till September 22. The interested candidates can register online by visiting the official website of India Post - appost.in.
The India Post has also extended the last date of registration and depositing fee from September 4 to 16.
The online application for the recruitment of 10,066 vacancies of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) in the post circles of Bihar, Assam, Punjab, Gujarat, Kerala and Karnataka had begun on August 5.
Steps to apply
Candidates can follow the below-given steps to register:
Step 1: Candidate are required to register and obtain unique registration number.
Step 2: Next stage is to make the fee payment. The candidates belonging to UR/OBC/EWS Male categories need to make the fee payment. Candidates can also make offline payments at any Head Post Office.
Step 3: You also have the option to apply online. Fill application by visiting the official website. Upload documents and submit your post preferences. Applicants need to preview and take a print out.

The age limit for Gramin Dak Sevak (Postal recruitment 2019-20) Posts is 18 to 40 years. The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of automated generated merit list. Eligible candidates can apply for the GDS post through the official website on or before September 4, 2019.
