NDA & NA (I) official notification for online registration released by UPSC, apply before Feb 5

NDA & NA (I) official notification for online registration released

New Delhi:

National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) (I) exam has released official notification on Monday on the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) official website.

As per the notification, the NDA and NA (I) exam is scheduled to conducted on April 22 for candidates seeking admission to Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 141st Course, and for the 103rd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) starting from January 2, 2019.

The online application process for the same has already begun and interested candidates can apply for the above-mentioned courses on or before 6 pm, February 5.

UPSC aims at fulfilling 360 vacancies this year in the National Defence Academy (208 for Army, 60 for Navy and 92 for Air Force) while fulfilling 55 in Naval Academy (10+2 cadet entry system).

The UPSC will be organising the NDA & NA (I) examination at centres in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Allahabad, Bengaluru, Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dharwad, Dispur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jorhat, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji (Goa), Patna, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur and Vishakhapatnam.

The notification on the official website read, “Applicants should note that there will be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the Centres except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. Allotment of Centres will be on the 'first-apply-first allot' basis, and once the capacity of a particular Centre is attained, the same will be frozen. Applicants are, thus, advised that they may apply early so that they could get a Centre of their choice.”

This indicates that the candidates should apply as early as possible as there are certain centres that have limited seats.
