NTA UGC-NET June 2019 Results OUT

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declare the UGC NET 2019 results two days before the earlier announced date, today one july 13. 

National Eligibility Test (NET) commenced on 20 June, 2019 and is going to conclude on 28 June, 2019. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check and download their scorecards from the official website of the NTA i.e. ntanet.nic.in. 

The exams are held as an eligibility test for lectureship as well as a test for fellowships.

Candidates who are qualified for  JRF and Assistant Professor can persue research in their post graduation subject with fellowship and grant from UGC or can apply for teaching positions at colleges or universities when the Collge Service Commission announces vacancies.The vality of the score will be for three years and all the qualified candiates will be awarded a letter with score card. Only 6% candidates among the total number of examiness qualified for the final JRF and Assistnat professor slots.

As per the cut off marks released by NTA, around 4756 qualifed both for JRF  and Assistant Professor posts and 55701 candidates are eligible only for Assistant Professors post 

Here are the steps to check UGC NET 2019 Results:
Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. ntanet.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the result link.
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new window.
Step 4: Enter the details to log in to the user portal.
Step 5: Tap on the View NET result 2019.
Step 6: The NTA UGC NET 2019 June results will be displayed on your screen.
Step 7: Download or take a print out for future reference.  

To qualify, the candidates need to secure a minimum of 40% aggregate in Paper 1 and 2. The minimum cut off for reserved category, PwD and transgender students is 35%, however, as per the amended policy of result evaluation, now only 6 per cent of candidates shall be declared qualified.
