UPSC Combined Medical Services application process commences

New Delhi:

UPSC CMS recruitment application is out on the official website The Union Public Service Commission has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill up application forms for UPSC Combines Medical Exam 2019. 

A combined examination for recruitment to the services will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on the 21st July, 2019 

Candidates who want to apply for the exam can visit the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in to check the notification and visit upsconline.nic.in and apply. Applications can be submitted by candidates till May 6, 2019. A total of 965 posts will be filled through this recruitment exam.

Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways: 300 Posts

Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services: 46 Posts

Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services: 250 Posts

General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council: 07 Posts

General Duty Medical Gr.-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation, and South Delhi Municipal Corporation: 362 Posts

UPSC CMS Exam 2019: Scheme of Examination

The examination shall be conducted according to the following plan:-Part-I

Computer-based Test – (500 marks)The candidates will take the Computer based examination in two Papers, each Paper carrying a maximum of 250 marks. Each Paper will be of two hours duration.

Personality Test: (100 Marks):Personality test carrying 100 marks of such of the candidates who qualify on the results of the test.

UPSC CMS Exam 2019: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the examination should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.

Age Limit:

Candidates should be below 32 years of age.

Candidates who will be shortlisted to appear for the exam will get their e-admit cards three weeks before the commencement of the exam. Candidates (Excepting Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay of fee of Rs. 200/- either by cash or by using net banking facility. The Commission will declare the result of the Computer-based exam in the month of September/October 2019.
