Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET) 2018 Examination, which was scheduled to take place on March 12 across the state of Uttar Pradesh, is postponed till further notice by Allahabad High Court.
According to reports, a Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court directed the state government to postpone the Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination 2018.
"Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Examinations, scheduled for 10 am-1 am on 12th March, postponed till further notice by Allahabad High Court," the news agency ANI reported.
The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board will conduct the examination only after the fresh result of Teachers' Eligibility Test 2017.
The refurbished result will be announced after deleting 14 questions which were wrong, out of syllabus or had two correct answers.
The Examination Regulatory Authority has been granted a month to complete fresh evaluation of all the answer sheets of candidates by deleting 14 questions from question papers and declare the TET 2017 results afresh.

Almost every state and central government conduct their TET exam every year to appoint candidates for the post of Assistant Teachers. This year UP Basic Education Board aimed to recruit over 65,000 student all over the state.
The test is conducted to fulfil and achieve the goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act.
