There is no dearth of talent in India, and it is being proven time and again that Indians have the will and determination to even do the impossible. In a recent event, a student of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur, whose name is Allaudin has been able to register his name in the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records.

The record was created in book reading. Allaudin achieved the feat of reading book continuously for 27 hours and 5 minutes. After reading book for such a long period, he got his name registered in the Guinness Book of World Records on August 26, 2019. Earlier, the record was in the name of Yatish Chandra Shukla from Uttar Pradesh, India, who read book for continuous 24 hours. Now, the past record is broken after 2 years by Allaudin.

Allaudin is just 22 years old and is a student of CSJM University, Kanpur. The officials told him that he could break the record if he can read continuously for 24 hours and 5 minutes, and he went on reading for 27 hours 5 minutes.

The reading programme arrangements was organized at the Gangwar Coaching. Guinness Book member Mahesh Vishnoi was the judge and he monitored the reading feat. According to the rule set by Guinness Book, a break of 30 seconds for drinking water was allowed. In addition, the student was not allowed to go to the washroom in-between the reading time. The contestant started reading on August 25 at 10 AM and finished reading on August 26.
