Indian Institute of Technology at Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) opened the annual placement session with four international job positions, and the highest offer of Rs 1.53 Crore per annum. According to Prof. Anil Kumar Agrawal, Professor in-charge, Training and Placement Cell, 33 companies came with 138 offers in the first slot of the first day of the placement session.
The companies that visited the campus on the first day of the placement drive at IIT-BHU include Uber, Google, Goldman Sachs, Jaguar (GEET), Oracle, American Express BA, APT Portfolio, Microsoft, Nutanix, Appdynamics, Flipkart (APM), PhonePe, Bounce BDA, Bajaj, Texas Instruments, McKinsey, Mastercard, Ab Inbev, TIMS Solutions, VMock PA, Codenation, Jaguar (GMET), Confluent, Mindtickle, KLA Tencor, Sprinklr, Qualcomm, Thoughtspot, Cisco, Zilingo BA, Cohesity and Intel.
Prof. Anil Kumar Agrawal said, “Most of the offers ranged from Rs 10,00,000-58,21,000 while four international positions were given the highest offer of Rs 1.53 crore (2,14,600 USD)”. Further, he added that a total of 1,426 students registered for the placement drive.
He said that 41 companies visited the campus and gave 172 pre-placement offers to the students of IIT-BHU. The name of the companies that visited the campus are Samsung, Grofers India, Nvidia, Nutanix, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Optum, Sapient, Bajaj, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Aditya Birla, OYO, Deutshe Bank, Adobe, Tata Steel, ZS Associates, Bechtel India, American Express, Wipro, Alphonso Inc, Hindustan Unilever, Mathworks, HP, Get Active, DE Shaw, Reliance, Mentor Graphics, Yokogawa Electric, MyKarma, Qualcomm, Goldman Sachs, Eaton, Citicorp, VISA, Policy Bazar and CISCO.
