News Nation has conducted the biggest exit poll survey to provide you the most accurate data.

New Delhi:

The polling in Bihar, which was held in all seven phases starting from April 11 to May 19, has come to an end and with this the focus has now shifted to exit poll results. The exit poll results data for Bihar will be aired after 6.30pm, as per the guidelines of the Election Commission. As we debate over who will win a maximum number of seats in Bihar, News Nation has conducted the biggest exit poll survey to provide you the most accurate data. 

The BJP, in alliance with the JD(U) and the LJP, is currently at power in Bihar and it hopes to gain big in the upcoming polls owing to the popularity of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the NDA is expected to face tough competition from Congress-RJD led Grand Alliance.

The grand alliance comprises RJD, Congress, HAM, RLSP, VIP, Sharad Yadav’s LJD and the three Left parties – CPI, CPI(ML) and CPM.

In the last general elections, the BJP with its allies the Ram Vilas Paswan-led LJP and the Upendra Kushwaha-led RLSP had won 31 seats in Bihar. The RJD-Congress-NCP alliance was reduced to 7 seats (4+2+1) whereas the Nitish Kumar-led JDU was decimated with just 2 seats in the elections.

According to India TV-CNX Exit Poll 2019, the BJP-led NDA is likely to win 300 seats. The Congress-led UPA is projected to win 120 seats whereas the SP+BSP+RLD alliance may get 28 seats. The others are predicted to get 94 seats.

NDA likely to get a vote share of 38 per cent: News Nation Exit Poll


Vote share of UPA is expected to be around 30 per cent. 

Nitish Kumar has been ruling the state since 2005 (barring the period when Jitan Ram Manjhi was the chief minister).

Meanwhile, Election Commission said that polling has concluded in 542 parliamentary constituencies across states and Union Territories.

The 2014 election in Bihar was held in six phases on April 10, 17, 24, 30 and May 7 and 12.

The RJD-Congress-NCP alliance was reduced to 7 seats (4+2+1) whereas the Nitish Kumar-led JDU was decimated with just 2 seats in the 2014 Elections.

In 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, the BJP with its allies the Ram Vilas Paswan-led LJP and the Upendra Kushwaha-led RLSP won 31 seats in Bihar.
