Telangana Chief Minister and TRS K Chandrasekhar Rao met DMK president MK Stalin in Chennai to hold discussions on emerging political developments in the country. The meeting between the two leaders came days after the DMK had called off the meet citing Stalin’s campaign commitments for the four constituencies in Tamil Nadu.

The TRS supremo had stepped up efforts to forge a non-Congress, non-BJP federal front of regional parties and recently met his Kerala counterpart Pinarayi Vijayan inThiruvananthapuram. The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) had earlier said that KCR would call on Stalin at his residence in Chennai on May 13.Â
