Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched a sharp attack on Congress president Rahul Gandhi, saying that dynasty can make him party chief but it “doesn’t bring vision and wisdom". Addressing a rally in Indore, Modi expressed confidence of winning the Lok Sabha elections, claiming that while there was anti-incumbency against the Congress-led UPA government in 2014, there is pro-incumbency now.

The prime minister claimed that people from Kanyakumari to Kashmir have already decided to re-elect his government. He said that Congress party has become arrogant and its leader Sam Pitroda’s “hua to hua” remarks about the 1984 anti-sikh riots reflected the same.

Speaking in the commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh, the prime minister said that if returned to power his government will further strengthen the funding mechanism of start-ups.

“My government has given importance to technology and transparency in the last five years. We will strengthen the funding mechanism of start-ups in the next five years,” Modi said, claiming that India had become the third largest start-up ecosystem in the world.
