Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that Pakistan has stopped threatening India about ‘nuclear attack’ after India destroyed terrorist camp inside its territory. The prime minister also said that India too has nuclear options available in case the need arises.

“India has stopped the policy of getting scared of Pakistan's threats. Every other day they used to say "We've nuclear button, we've nuclear button".....What do we have then? Have we kept it for Diwali?” PM Modi said while addressing a rally in Rajasthan’s Barmer.

PM Modi said that India now has the capacity to strike a nuclear attack from water, land, and sea.

“Today India destroyed terrorist camp inside Pakistan's territory that too without any war... This is an example of a powerful government,” PM Modi added.

Hitting out at the Congress, he said that the grand old party believes that terrorism and nationalism are not issues at all.

He also accused the Congress of missing the opportunity to resolve Kashmir issue in 1971 by releasing 90000 Pakistani soldiers. “Congress government missed the opportunity to resolve Kashmir issue in 1971 by releasing 90000 Pakistani soldiers who surrendered,” the prime minister said while addressing a rally in Rajasthan’s Barmer.

Earlier, he accused the Congress party of betraying the people, saying injustice was done to the country's growth potential and its resources.

"Post-independence people trusted the Congress for five decades, but the party betrayed the people. Injustice was meted out to resources and potential of the country. Congress did vote bank politics and made power a medium to fill its coffers," Modi said, at an election rally in Rajasthan's Chittorgarh constituency.

He said smaller nations which got freedom in the same period as when India got its independence had developed far more than India.
