New Delhi:

Witnessing a downfall in its performance in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP is expected to win 21 of the 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh in the upcoming general elections, an opinion poll by News Nation has predicted.

As per the poll data, the BJP is likely to get 41 per cent of the total votes while the Congress may get 35 per cent vote share.

In the last Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had won 26 seats in the state while the Congress had managed to garner only three seats.

In the 2018 assembly elections, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government in the state suffered a major setback at the hands of the Congress.
