On Balakot surgical strikes, the Prime Minister spoke about minute details such as weather on the fateful night. He revealed that the bad weather could have ruined the ultra-secret plan.

On allegations of politicising the military, PM Modi simply rejected the claims and instead demanded the journalists to provide proof of any such rally or interaction where he had sought vote in the name of the Army. “Should I not tell people about what the Congress has been saying about our top military commanders, PM Modi asked.

‘Didn’t they ask where is 56 inch,’ PM Modi spoke extensively about post-Pulwama scenario and said that first the detractors mocked him and later when he ordered the airstrikes, they started questioning him. “What can I say about that,” PM Modi told News Nation’s Deepak Chaurasia.

At a time when his supporters and party members are hailing his ‘talk tough’ policy, PM Modi said that he doesn’t want and doesn’t need any credit. However, he raised the concern against those speaking Pakistan’s tongue and said that people should not forget our Army’s valour.

“If media had made me, media could have destroyed me,” PM Modi said on the Opposition’s ‘headline’ campaign against him. In his heart, PM Modi is still a ‘common man’. “In my heart, I don’t see myself as a Prime Minister. It’s only when I sign a file that I have a relation about my post.” PM Modi said candidly. He also took on the Congress, his political archrival and said that the Grand Old Party has become very, very egoistic.
