News Nation Exit Poll predict a massive turn around in the Southern state of Tamil Nadu. The exit poll indicates that along with AIADMK, BJP will also suffer huge loss in the state in Lok Sabha Elections 2019.

According to the exit poll, the AIADMK-BJP-PMK-DMDK coalition is expected to win only 9 Lok Sabha seats out of 39 with 40 per cent vote share.

Meanwhile, the coalition of Congress-DMK-VCK-MDMK-IUML-Left is likely to win a whopping 28 seats with 45 per cent vote share. However, one seat in the state may go to Others.

Dayanidhi Maran, A Raja, TR Baalu, CP Radhakrishnan, M Thambidurai, Kanimozhi, Pon Radhakrishnan, H Vasanthakumar, Karti Chidambaram, Sam Paul and M Thiyagarajan are the key contestants in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

BJP-led NDA is likely to form the Government with winning 282 to 290 seats, News Nation Exit Poll indicates.

 

What other agencies predict?

According to Today’s Chanakya exit poll, the AIADMK is likely to win 6 seats while DMK is expected to emerge victorious at 31. Others may manage to get one seat.

According to India TV-CNX exit poll, the AIADMK-BJP-PMK-DMDK coalition is likely to win 12 seats out of 39 in Tamil Nadu. The coalition of Congress-DMK-VCK-MDMK-IUML-Left is expected to win 27 seats.

Held in 7 phases, Lok Sabha elections 2019 for 542 of 543 constituencies came to an end on Sunday (May 19) evening. Votes will be counted on May 23. While PM Modi-led NDA is seeking second term, the Congress-led UPA is keen to make a comeback in power.

At the time of the previous Lok Sabha elections in 2014, Tamil Nadu had a total of 55,114,742 registered electors, of whom 73.74 per cent, or 40,644,282, exercised their right to franchise across 60,817 polling stations to choose their 39 Members of Parliament from among 845 candidates. All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) bagged 37 of these seats with a vote share of 44.9 per cent.
