In a gracious move, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday shook hands with a group of people who were seen chanting pro-Modi slogans when a cavalcade of cars was passing by ahead of her Indore rally this afternoon. People in large number thronged the roads of Indore to catch a single glimpse of her, while some of them started chanting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's name, in a thunderous roar - Mo-di! Mo-di! Mo-di!
The younger Gandhi, who was on her way to the roadshow from city airport, stepped out from the motorcade and met them with a smile on her face. Stretching her hands towards the gathering, Priyanka said, "You are good at your place and I am at mine (Aap apni jagah, main meri jagah)". After a brief interaction with the group of people Priyanka greeted them all the best. Moved by her simplicity and sportsman spirit, the locals also wished her luck after which Gandhi left.

In another heart-winning move, Gandhi, during an election rally at Ratlam, broke security protocol on Monday and met many enthusiastic supporters who were eager to take selfies with the leader.
The Congress general secretary, accompanied with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath and his Chhattisgarh counterpart Bhupesh Baghel, started her Indore roadshow from Raj Mohalla and was seen waving to the crowd as her caravan passed the crowded streets.
Earlier in the day, Priyanka also offered prayers at the famous Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain and held another road show in the city as she kicked off her campaign for the fourth and last phase of Lok Sabha polls in Madhya Pradesh. It was her maiden campaign in the state.
Polling for the Indore parliamentary constituency, which is considered to be a stronghold of the BJP since 1989, is scheduled to take place in the seventh phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 19. This will be the fourth and last round of General Elections in Madhya Pradesh. The counting of votes for seven-phase Lok Sabha polls will be taken up on May 23.
