The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to release its first list of candidates today. BJP's highest decision-making body, met on Wednesday on the selection of candidates. This was the third meeting in the last six days. On Tuesday evening, it had held a seven-hour-long discussion to deliberate upon the names of party's candidates in various states.
Subhash Bhamre to contest from Dhule, Hansraj Ahir from Chandrapur, Poonam Mahajan from Mumbai North Central.
VK Singh to contest from Ghaziabad, Hema Malini from Mathura, Sakshi Maharaj from Unnao, Smriti Irani from Amethi
Jugal Kishore to contest from Jammu, Dr Jitendra Singh from Udhampur, Sofi Yousuf from Anantnag.
Rajnath Singh to contest from Lucknow. Smriti Irani from Amethi.
PM Modi to contest Lok Sabha polls from Varanasi, Amit Shah to contest from Gandhinagar.
