The popular reality show Bigg Boss 10 saw a major turmoil after Rohan Mehra slapped Om Swami during the captaincy task.
While Mehra has been nominated for the entire season as a punishment by Bigg Boss, his father has come out in support of Rohan and said that it was Om who provoked him to take such a gutsy step.
"Being a sportsperson, Rohan’s very focused on the tasks and was irritated with Swami Om for his unwanted interference which was against the rules. Besides, it was Swami Om who got violent first, injuring Rohan and Manveer. He even started stripping in front of female contestants and urinated in the kitchen. Rohan is only doing this show because Salman Khan is hosting it, otherwise there is no reason to tolerate such contestants," Rohan's father told a leading daily.
He further said that “Rohan respects his elders and addresses them as `aap’. It must have taken a lot of provocation for him to forget his maryada.”
It was reported that Rohan is quite upset with the entire incident and has asked Bigg Boss to let him leave the show after he was nominated for the season.
To this Mehra's father said, “Rohan is a child. The makers have had a word with him and he understands that he is contractually bound to the show. I’m sure you’ll see the Swami dancing in the next episode.”
Well, we wonder how host Salman Khan will react to this controversy.
