Bigg Boss 12 has returned with yet another sensational season of the reality show with none other than Salman Khan as the host. With the unique format revolving around Vichitra Jodi, the famous house is now filled with a great mix of celebrities who’ve entered the house as singles and will be facing commoner jodis as competition.
Every contestant is busy doing funny and odd antics to control the camera movement in their direction. But Deepak Thakur looks like a well-versed and extraordinary player who has already learned the trick! Gangs of Wasseypur-fame singer, Thakur has made an impactful impression right on his first day in the house.
The first day inside the Bigg Boss house started on a high note with Deepak Thakur in the frame. Deepak looked so fascinated by a Jacuzzi in the Bigg Boss house that he spent minutes sitting next to it figuring out the way it worked. He is seen talking about the same to his partner Urvashi amping up their ‘general knowledge’. His innocence and humorous talks would have definitely tickled the viewer’s funnybone!
The first war of words happened between the rowdy farmer, Shivashish Mishra and camera’s favorite, Deepak Thakur in the Bigg Boss kitchen.
Deepak felt low as he feelsn he is being ignored by inmates and is seen crying while talking alone in front of his family's photographs! What are the chances of missing family on the day 1? Or is that another strategy?
Just then Jasleen enters the frame and tries to console him.
Later, by the pool side, Jasleen is seen complaining about Saba to Anup, Urvashi and Deepak. On which, Deepak shared his ceaseless wisdom.
As the day progressed, situations were stirred up by Bigg Boss announcing the first task of the season called BB Press Conference, which require one single contestant to challenge a jodi who they think is weaker than them. Its single vs doubles! Veteran singer, Anup and Jasleen’s relationship was put to test as housemates raised questions over it. Their reluctance in accepting their real relationship failed to save them from being tagged as a weak link and Srishty proved she is more capable of being in the Bigg Boss house. For this time, the Bigg Boss camera decamp its beloved contestant, Deepak Thakur.
Then soon, Bigg Boss cam was anchored to Deepak Thakur as he was the one who Neha Pendse challenged along with his partner Urvashi. Neha launched a scathing attack accusing that the duo still can't get over excitement of being in the Bigg Boss house. The task was on the verge of losing it’s interest, as we felt it is too early and difficult to judge anyone within a day. Deepak gave a befitting reply to Nehha’s claim in a trice. Deepak and Urvashi smartly defended themselves and won the round with majority of votes in their favour. His wit and grit impressed the ‘sanchalaks’, Hina and Hiten and it was Nehha who was tagged as a misfit for the house.
Amidst all the action and drama that hit the bulletins on Bigg Boss 12’s day 1, Deepak Thakur stole the biggest piece of cake. The way he is connecting to the common man, emerging as one of the most relatable character, he is undoubtedly, adding more spice to this controversial reality show along with winning the limelight. Deepak is surely pacing towards a successful stint in the 12th season of Bigg Boss and a possible threat for other fellow contestants.
