Celebrities often make a splash at Salman Khan’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss to promote their upcoming projects. Deepika Padukone too reached for the same but left in some time resulting in the shooting getting called off.
A Twitter account named The Khabri that follows the show religiously has claimed that DP did decide to shoot an episode for Bigg Boss 13 but could not due to time crunch. The Tweet reads, "DeepikaPadukone Left The shoot and Didn't shoot for Weekend Ka Vaar as It started Very late and she had to Go on Premiere."
The actress earlier had graced the show during Bigg Boss 10 and Bigg Boss 11 for her films xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Padmaavat respectively. Everytime these two of the most-loved actors shared a stage, the demand for them sharing the screen space came along.
On the other hand, the show will also see Kajol and Ajay Devgn's presence during the weekend episode as they will promote Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
Meanwhile Bigg Boss became the most watched reality show with 5.75 impressions as per BARC data in the week where ashami Desai had a ugly fight with Siddharth Shukla when she ends up throwing hot tea on him and Arhaan threatening him with acid attack. The Kapil Sharma Show, which garnered 6.8 million impressions in the week before, managed 5.73 million impressions the next week
