Bigg Boss Kannada Season 7 premiered on October 13 with a bang and Kiccha Sudeep has returned as the star host. The list of contestants saw a mix of celebs from TV, film and politics as well. Veteran actor Jai Jagadish, journalist-author Ravi Belagere, Rashmi of Duniya fame, TV actress Sujatha, Gurulinga Swamiji from Agadi Akki Mutt in Haveri, Priyanka of Agni Sakshi fame, popular comedian Kuri Prathap are among the many who have come on board for this season of Bigg Boss Kannada. Here’s the complete list:
1. Jai Jagdish: Jai Jagdish is one of the popular faces of the Kannada film industry. The actor was seen playing a pivotal role in a popular daily soap Aramane, which went off air last year (2018). He also features in a newly launched daily soap Kasturinivasa.
2. Kuri Prathap: Kuri Prathap is a comedy actor and has been part of more than sixty Kannada feature films and has featured on a popular Kannada prank show called Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu. He recently appeared in Kannada sketch comedy Majaa Talkies.
3. Priyanka: She is fondly known as Chandrika of TV show Agnisakshi. Her on-screen character Chandrika is one of the most popular on-screen characters of Kannada television.
4. Ravi Belegere: Ravi Belegere is one of the senior journalists on the show. He works as the editor of a Kannada tabloid and a fortnight magazine. His daughter Bhavana was also a contestant in Bigg Boss Kannada.
5. Chandana: She is a famous Kannada TV serial actress. She shot to fame with the TV show Chukki and has acted predominantly in Kannada shows and serials like Raja Rani.
6. Deepika Das: She is one of the popular faces of Kannada TV. She shot to fame for her on-screen character Amrutha in the supernatural daily soap Naagini.
7. Kishen Bilagali: Kishen, who is a dancer and choreographer by profession, won a national level dance competition last year (2018). He also participated in the Kannada dance reality show Takadhimitha and managed to be one of the finalists in the show.
8. Shine Shetty: He has featured in daily soaps like Lakshmi Baramma and Meera Madhava.
9. Chaitra Kotoor: Chaitra is an actress a scriptwriter and a theatre artist.
10. Harish Raj: Harish made his acting debut with the television serial Hosa Chiguru Hale Beru. He made his film debut with Doni Saagali. After featuring in a number of films and serials, Raj moved into film direction with the movie Kalaakaar.
11. Chaitra Vasudevan: She is one of the glamorous hosts in Kannada television. As per TOI, the popular VJ loves shopping and has undying love for shoes as well.
12. Duniya Rashmi: Rashmi made her debut with super hit film Duniya and won millions of hearts with her performance.
13: Bhoomi Shetty: Last seen in TV show Kinnar, Bhoomi is fondly known for her on-screen character Mani. She became popular within a short span of time and won the hearts of Kannada viewers.
14. Gurulinga Swamiji: Gurulinga Swamiji is a disciple of Basavanna. He is also known for his tree-planting activities.
15. Sujatha Akshaya: She is popular for her role in daily soap Radha Ramana. She was also an RJ and acted in a few films too.
16. Raju Talikote: He is a Kannada theatre personality and film actor. He is popular for his comedy movies.
17. Chandhan Achar: Chandhan shot to fame with his super hit Kannada movie Kirik Party. He has also appeared in the film Mugulu Nage.
18. Vasuki Vaibhav: He’s a singer, composer, lyricist, actor and theatre producer. Vasuki Vaibhav has wowed many with his rendition of the song Kaagadada Doniyalli from Kirik Party.
