Self-proclaimed Punjabi ki ‘Aishwarya Rai’; Himanshi Khurana is making a comeback to the Bigg Boss 13 house not as a contestant but as a support system for one of the strongest contenders for the title this year, Asim Riaz. The model turned reality show contestant, Asim also went down on his knee to propose marriage to Himanshi. While this garnered a lot of trps for the show, this gesture has not gone down well with Asim’s brother Umar Riaz. After netizens complained that Himanshi is faking her love for Asim even his brother Umar is unconvinced and find it to be mere affection and not love.
Asim's brother who has time and again supported his brother in conversation with entertainment portal, Pinkvilla.com, expressed of this gesture of Asim, leaving him shocked. Also according to him, it is just affection that Asim has for Himanshi and it can’t be termed as love. Umar was also not quite pleased with Asim making a marriage proposal on reality TV and also he should have kept personal life away from the media glare. Also adding further as there is a lot of negativity in the house, and with Himanshi being good to Asim, he is left admiring her.
In last days episode, as Himanshi enters the house, Asim screams in excitement, ''Mera dil baahar aara hai (My heart is jumping out of my chest).'' He then hugs and kisses her.

He was quoted saying by the portal, “It was kind of a shocker for me, to be honest because Asim is the kind of guy who is very career orientated, very much into fitness and what he wants to do in life, so proposing someone for marriage was not something I was expecting. Whenever earlier we used to have a chat about marriage, he used to speak about his career. Now, it is time to do something big rather than taking care of somebody else. That's what I feel, don't know about it.”
“I think the house has such negative vibes, people constantly trying to put you down and Himanshi was the one who was sweet to him and he used to admire her. Having said that I think Asim developed an affection for her rather than love,” he adds further.
Umar also feels because Asim has certain pressure from show’ host Salman Khan, who had held Asim responsible for Himanshi breaking up with her fiancé might have compelled Asim to take such a step on national television. “Asim had some pressure from Salman sir too because he said that because of Asim, Himanshi got separated from her fiance. So he took it upon himself and hence maybe he took the step. But, I don't think he was responsible for that. But, it is okay he is still young.” said Umar.
After exiting the show, Himanshi had shared how she feels about her bond with Asim. ''I am so happy that even after a month, people still talk about it. And the best part is that they say all good things. That means my vibe and personality did leave an impact. Also, recently Shehnaaz mentioned that if she has to be jealous of someone, it would be someone like Himanshi and not Paras Chhabra or Mahira Sharma, that felt really good,'' she had said.
