2.0 box office collection day 5: Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar film’s Hindi version grosses Rs 111 crore

Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer science fiction film 2.0 is the biggest film of Indian cinema. Produced with a huge budget of Rs 550 crore, the film has been performing quite well at the box office across India and overseas. 2.0 has managed to cross Rs 400 crore box collection within four days of its release across the globe. It is expected that film will recover its cost with the box office collections only in just one week of its release.

Trade analyst and film critic Sumit Kadel shared the Indian box office collection of Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer after the first weekend. In four days, the movie earned Rs 94 crore in Hindi, Rs 114.5 crore in Tamil and Telugu, making it a total of Rs 208.50 crore in India.

As per latest reports, 2.0 has churned out more than Rs 100 crore on Monday as well and earned Rs 107.5 crore, making it a total of Rs 400 crore in just four days of its release. After the first weekend, the movie bagged Rs 298 crore in India and Rs 105 crore overseas.

As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers of the film has already made a deal of Rs 370 crore through satellite rights, digital rights and more.

Here is the five day collection of 2.0 in Hindi version:

Nov 29: Thursday – Rs 20.25 crore                                            

Nov 30: Friday – Rs 18 crore

Dec 1: Saturday – Rs 25 crore

Dec 2: Sunday – Rs 34 crore

Dec 3: Monday – 13.75 crore

Total – Rs 111 crore

2.0 will becomes Akshay Kumar’s highest grossing film of all-time within a week of its release. Trade analyst are predicting good business from the movie on weekdays as well.

Last week, Madras high Court also issued an order to 37 internet service providers (ISPs) to block more than 12,000 websites which features pirated versions of Tamil movies. But, the movie was somehow released on TamilRockers few hours after its release.
