Aamir Khan turned 54 today and like every year he invited the media in his Bandra residence for an interactive session and to make announcement about his upcoming project.
The birthday boy dressed in brown t-shirt cut the birthday cake with wife Kiran Rao and then sealed it with a kiss.

For his 54th birthday, Aamir is having a quiet birthday celebration. After the annual tradition of celebrating it with the media, he will head to North Ireland for the Belfast Film Festival.
Talking about how his day unfolded he told the reporters, “It was a great start to the day. We went to watch to Azad’s football match which was very good and his team won which is a gift for me.â€
When asked about his upcoming films, he revealed that he has taken up an official adaptation of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump. Helmed by the director of Secret Superstar, Advait Chandan, the film is titled as, "Lal Singh Chaddha."
The movie will be produced by Viacom and Aamir Khan Productions together. “We have bought the rights from Paramount." he said
 He even said that his eyes and energy level matches that of Tom Hanks, the lead character in the original movie.
