Aamir khan and Zaira Wasim starrer ‘Secret Superstar’ continues to recreate ‘Dangal’s magic in China. The movie is all set to cross Rs 400 mark at the Chinese box-office.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took his Twitter handle to share the box-office collection of ‘Secret Superstar’ in China till Saturday.
He wrote, ‘’#SecretSuperstar continues its DREAM RUN in China... Having crossed ₹ 375 cr on Sat [Day 9], the film is expected to cross ₹ 400 cr today [Sun; Day 10]... [Week 2] Fri $ 4.84 mn Sat $ 7.56 mn Total: $ 59.14 million [₹ 376.09 cr]’’.
Aamir Khan seems to have a huge fan following in China as this would mark to be actor’s second flick after ‘Dangal’ to bag Rs 400 crore in China. ‘Dangal’ went on to become highest grossing Bollywood film in China with a box-office collection of Rs 1200 crore.
The story of ‘Secret Superstar’ revolves around a girl who aspires to become a singer. But, her father doesn’t allow her to follow her dream so she sets up her own YouTube channel and starts sharing videos of herself singing without revealing her identity.
The movie was released on October 19 last year and was loved and applauded by the audience and critics as well. The movie amassed Rs 63 crore at the domestic box-office.
Salman Khan to follow Aamir Khan’s path and is all geared up to release his 2015 superhit flick ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in China on March 2.
