Aanand L Rai, popular Bollywood film director, is known to deliver interesting characters. After creating impressive characters in his films like Tanu Weds Manu, Raanjhanaa, Tanu Weds Manu Returns among others, Rai is all set to present Zero starring not just an outstanding cast but also intriguing special appearances.
R Madhavan and Abhay Deol will be seen adding to the remarkable performances of the film with interesting characters. However, details of the same are yet undisclosed. Madhavan who has earlier worked with Aanand L Rai for the successful franchise of Tanu Weds Manu would be seen in a special appearance playing an important part of Aafia aka Anushka Sharma's life.
While much details are not revealed of Abhay Deol's character, the actor will collaborate with the director again after Ranjhaana for a special role.

Recently, Team Zero was recently in Delhi for the promotion of the movie. The two leading ladies posted a picture of the team promoting the movie in Delhi - Shah Rukh Khan along with the leading ladies Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma and director Aanand L Rai.
With only two days to go for the film release, Shah Rukh took to his social media to introduce his new ‘cute’ character – a chimpanzee, from Zero. In the special poster shared by the actor, Bauua can be seen enjoying the company of the new character, while he sits on the edge of a tall building. Both of them stare up at something in the sky.
Zero showcases Shah Rukh Khan as the vertically challenged Bauua, Anushka Sharma as Aafia, a girl who is a scientist living with cerebral palsy and Katrina Kaif as a Bollywood Superstar named Babita Kumari. Zero, a Christmas release Is one of the most anticipated movies of the year.

Bankrolled by Gauri Khan, Zero features Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Shah Rukh Khan and Tigmanshu Dhulia in pivotal roles, the upcoming flick is all set to hit the theatres on December 21, 2018.
