Biopics have become the norm of Bollywood. Riding high on the impressive box office collection of movies like Bhag Milkha Bhaag, Mary Kom, Manikarnika and the likes, biopics have made great in roads in the film industry.
However, not many directors have attempted to delve into the lives of yesteryear singers for their biopic. But the news of a biopic being made on the life of legendary singer Kishore Kumar has been doing the rounds for some time now.
Turns out a singer has been approached to enact in his biopic. According to a latest report in Times of India, singer and reality show judge Adnan Sami has been approached to play Kishore Kumar on screen.
A source told the leading daily that the singer is perfect fit for the role as he is a singer, composer and also a good actor. The source further added that the 'Lift Kara dey'singer will also recreate some of Kishore Kumar's classics in his voice
While details of the makers of the film is not yet confirmed. It is being reported that news of Adnan coming on board for the film may be announced soon. According to reports, Adnan Sami was approached for the part after his versions of some of Kishore's classic songs were recreated on a show. The videos from the show reportedly went viral, and the makers thought of taking Adnan Sami for the role of Kishore Kumar.
It will indeed be delightful to see Kishor kumar's journey to stardom recreated on the silverscreen
