Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are one of the most stunning couples that we have in the B-town. The two have always managed to hog the limelight with their adorable chemistry both on-screen as well as off-screen. Aishwarya and Abhishek will complete 12 years of marital bliss in April this year. They got married in a private ceremony at the Bachchan residence in April 2007.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a stunning appearance on Famously Filmfare and revealed many details about her career, the films she was offered and also talked about working with husband Abhishek Bachchan in a film.
Aishwarya was asked what she and Abhishek Bachchan argue the most about, Aishwarya laughed it off and said, ‘You don’t want to know’. When prodded further, she shared, “We’re both genetically very generously been given very strong genes. So, we’re inherently very strong personalities. I think there is a very fine line between arguing and discussing and that’s something we’re still arriving at discovering what is what. So, we discuss a lot, either politely put it as discuss, probably argue but…”
When asked if any habit of Abhishek Bachchan leads to the argument, she said, ''It has been 12 years and how many years before that we’ve known each other as friends. We’ve known each other for quite a long time. We’ve always conversed a lot and communicated a lot, in all its shades, in all the colours of the rainbow.''
The actor also spoke about how Abhishek proposed to her on the sets of Jodhaa Akbar. ''Ashutosh (Gowariker) is like ‘you are engaged’ and I am like ‘yeah’. Meanwhile, Duggu gave me an excited thumbs up. We’re doing Khwaja Mere Khwaja, sitting as a bride, and I am like, oh my god this is surreal, all happening on-screen, off-screen, this is bizarre,'' she said.
Aishwarya and Abhishek announced their engagement in 2007. The two have worked together in several films such as Dhoom 2, Guru and Raavan. The couple has a daughter together, Aaradhya.
