Some minutes before legendary Sridevi’s demise, veteran actor and the Shehanshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan sent shivers up social media’s spine when he tweeted that an uneasy feeling was taking him up.

Big B tweeted, Na jaane kyun, ek ajeeb si ghabrahat ho rahi hai.” His ‘unease’ was followed by the “Chandni” of Bollywood, Sridevi Boney Kapoor, passing away. Say it as sixth sense or anything, but hours after Senior Bachchan’s tweet, the world learned that the legendary actress passed away.

Sridevi, who was just 54, passed away due to a cardiac arrest in Dubai on Saturday night. She was present in Dubai to attend the wedding of actor Mohit Marwah, who is the nephew of Boney Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.

Big B and Sridevi had acted in several notable movies like Inquilaab, Aakhree Raasta, and Khuda Gawaah to name some. Amitabh Bachchan also made a special appearance in Sridevi’s English Vinglish, which released in 2012 and marked Sridevi’s return to the silver screen after a gap of many years.

The whole country was shocked to hear about the actress’s untimely death. Bollywood mourned the loss of a gem, and took to Twitter to give their condolences to the family in dismay.

Actor Ranveer Singh expressed his grief over the loss.

'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar too expressed his sadness over Sridevi's death.

Cricketer Virender Sehwag also tweeted about the 'Chandni' actress.

Sridevi's co-star and Southern actor Kamal Hassan tweeted, 'Sadma's lullaby haunts me now.'

'Thalaiva' Rajinikanth said he had lost a dear friend.
