Saif Ali Khan is touted to be one of the best dads in tinselvile. The actor is often seen doing the best for his son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi. In fact, he is also a protective father for both Sara and Ibrahim too, making him the perfect dad.
But there was a time when the Nawab of Pataudi was refrained from meeting his kids. Saif Ali Khan, in one of his previous interviews, revealed that his ex-wife Amrita Singh didn't allow him to meet Sara and Ibrahim.
He stated that while he used to miss his children terribly, they weren't allowed to stay with him as there was another woman in Saif's life.
Nawab was dating Rosa Catalano at that moment.
The Race actor stated that Amrita felt that Rosa might influence his kids against her.

"My wife and I have gone our separate ways. I respect my wife’s space. But why am I being constantly reminded of how terrible a husband I was, and how awful a father I am’ I’ve my son Ibrahim’s photograph in my wallet. Each time I look at it, I feel like crying’I miss my daughter Sarah all the time. I’m not allowed to meet my children. They aren’t allowed to come to visit me, let alone stay with me. Why’ Because there’s a new woman in my life who’d influence my children against their mother’ That’s so much hogwash and Amrita knows it. Right now my kids are growing up with Amrita’s relatives and maidservants while she’s out working in a TV serial. Why does she need to do that, when I’m more than willing to support my family," Saif was quoted as saying
In fact, the Bollywood actor also revealed that he underwent a lot of emotional imbalance during that time as his ex-wife often made him feel worthless.
But looks like the ex-couples have let the bygones be bygones now, as both Amrita and Saif share a cordial relation at present.
In fact, Saif's kids Sara and Ibrahim too are seen spending quality time with Khan and his present wife Kareena Kapoor.
Besides, Saif even expressed his excitement over daughter Sara's Bollywood debut. Sara Ali Khan will be entering showbiz with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
