The Hindi trailer of the much-awaited animated film, Angry Birds 2 has finally hit the internet and it features the voices of comedian Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh and Kiku Sharda, among others. While Sharma has lent his voice to o the protagonist Red, Singh and Sharda are the voice of Zeta and Leonard respectively.

The two-and-a-half-minute clip has references to the Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike in the form of the now-famous dialogue "How's the josh" and to popular television shows like The Kapil Sharma Show and Super Dancer.Watch the trailer below:

While talking about the dubbing project, Sharma said in a statement, "In the West, artists first voice for their characters and based on that, the film is shot using graphics. But over here, we have to talk according to the graphics."

Angry Birds Movie 2 is the sequel to 2016 animated film 'The Angry Birds Movie'. The film is based on the famous video game series of the same name 'Angry Birds' by Rovio Entertainment.

Directed by Thurop Van Orman and produced by John Cohen, the original film features the voices of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Peter Dinklage, Rachel Bloom along with Bill Hader and Sterling K. Brown.The Hindi version of the film will release on August 23, 2019. It will hit American theatres on 14 August.
