Anil Kapoor’s new role is something you don’t see him often in. As per reports, Mr India star will be playing the medieval Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan for his upcoming flick. Karan Johar’s Takht, glittering with the star cast of Bollywood A-listers like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, now has the evergreen Anil Kapoor as the main lead among the other stars.

According to gossip-vines, Anil Kapoor for his real role is to undergo some physical transformation and that means putting on a lot of weight for the fitness enthusiast. And mind you, this information about Anil Kapoor's character gets even extremely interesting given the fact that he had played the role of an overweight man years back in the film Badhaai Ho Badhaai. Although for the 2002 comedy, Anil didn’t exactly put on weight as it was a fat-suit giving that over-weight appearance, we are guessing playing a character with a little extra-weight will come naturally to him.
